Boost Control Solenoid (4-port)
4-port boost control solenoids are often used for applications with high boost pressures.
They allow boost levels up to 6-7 times the base spring pressure of the wastegate and let you use lower spring pressures for more precise control, especially at launch.
This is particularly useful in high-performance applications with limited traction where lower boost pressure in lower gears and higher boost pressure in higher gears may be required.
