Link Remote E-Throttle (DBW)

Link - Dash & Gauges

Link Remote E-Throttle (DBW) External E-Throttle module (Drive by Wire) from LinkLink's external E-throttle module works with all Link G4X ECUs (except the entry-level model AtomX) as well as all G4+ ECUs (Storm and higher). The module gives you full control over your throttle settings and enables faster and more precise throttle response. Replace mechanical throttle linkages with an advanced electronic throttle module.

Link Remote E-Throttle (DBW)

External E-Throttle module (Drive by Wire) from Link
Link's external E-throttle module works with all Link G4X ECUs

(except the entry-level model AtomX) as well as all G4+ ECUs

(Storm and higher). The module gives you full control over your throttle settings and enables faster and more precise throttle response.

Replace mechanical throttle linkages with an advanced electronic throttle module.
E-throttle is faster, requires less maintenance, improves fuel economy, and reduces emissions.

The external E-throttle module is designed to be used with:

  • All Link G4X ECUs
    (except AtomX)
  • All Link G4+ ECUs
    (Storm and higher)

It is most commonly used to provide e-throttle support for MonsoonX, StormX or PlugInX ECUs, or for secondary e-throttle control in XtremeX or FuryX.

Connection and wiring

The external electronic throttle module can be used as an output module for ECUs that do not have built-in support for electronic throttle control.

The module requires three auxiliary outputs from the ECU:

  • Signal 1 controls the first drive signal from the module and should be connected to the first Aux pair.
  • Signal 2 controls the second drive signal and should be connected to the second Aux pair.
  • Enable connects to the chosen e-throttle relay output and disconnects power to the internal throttle drive.

Power supply:
The module should be powered from the main relay.
Power should only be active when the ignition is on. This solution is perfect for high-performance motorsport setups where fast and precise throttle response is critical.
