This short shifter is designed to work with the original shift cables for several different gearboxes. It fits perfectly with all 02M and 02Q gearboxes, whether 5- or 6-speed and cable-operated.
It is also compatible with newer versions of 02J gearboxes, provided both the shift cable and gear selector have the same diameter.
Here’s an easy way to check: if both your shift cables are the same diameter, this short shifter is the right choice for you! If the cables are different diameters, you’ll need our 02A shifter instead.
